Our industry faces a challenge unlike any before . We are not talking about the cyclical boom and bust that has always affected construction, we are talking about a compounding social change which is resulting in a year on year drop in the numbers of school leavers taking up construction trades while demand for housing is soaring upwards at a similar rate.
Despite generous government incentives the 2023 /24 period saw a drop in trade uptake of 23.5% while the demand for housing rose by 22%.
This skill shortage is global and will not pass unlike many an industry before has done, we cannot simply relocate our industry to developing nations where such social change has not happened yet.
Identify, Reimagine, Create
ARC Innovations sole focus is on addressing the skills shortage by identifying critical elements within the construction industry
reimagining the approach then creating the solution.
Arc has a number of game changing products which will be launched in the coming months but we have decided to enter the market with a product which has an urgency even greater than that of the shortfall in the housing market.
Introducing, The EZ Arch .Culvert edition.
Patented consumable form profile.
The first true advancement in masonry Arch construction in millennia!
The EZ Arch system. Culvert edition. A consumable form product allowing single trade, rapid production of arched culverts on a flat plane answering the substantial issues soon to impact upcoming, emergency flood resilience works, lightning the load on the struggling pre-cast industry, while also reducing costs by 30-60% and construction time by over 50%.
---
Industry Issues.
Cumulatively, state and federal investments in flood resilience works over the next 10 years is well in excess of $10 billion. Precast culverts make up approx. 20% of the cost and work load involved in these essential projects.
As is, the Precast industry struggles to maintain supply to industry. To
meet present demand as well as the additional demand that will be placed on it by flood resilience works the Precast industry would need to grow by between 60 and 80% in the coming years. This is an unrealistic growth rate.
Solution = EZ Arch.
---
Cost Issues
The unfortunate truth is that, the $10b set aside for resilience works is likely to grow substantially over time. At this scale EZ Arch can conservatively reduce the combined Flood resilience works costs by $1b.
Solution = EZ Arch.
---
Time frame Issues
The urgency for these works does not need explaining. Loss of life , property and impact on the economy grow year on year.
When wait times and transport are taken into account, particularly in remote regions, the speed of construction efficiencies of the EZ Arch over existing Precast products range in the hundreds of percent.
Solution = EZ Arch
---
Transportation Issues
When terrain or logistical issues dictate that any work outside of installation works, must be done off site, transportation costs for culverts are substantial due to their shape severely impacting load capacity. Transportation costs are a substantial and ever rising element affecting Precast. As the EZ Arch is cast on a flat plane and can remain flat during transportation, associated costs are reduced, by well in excess of 50%.
Solution, = EZ Arch

Single trade construction process.
EZ Arch profiles come vacuum packed for rigidity during transportation. Packs come in a range of primary sizes designed to match the flow capacity of its equivalent 'standard' box culvert, however each pack instructional also provides simple instruction on how to space the profiles to achieve sizes in a range higher and lower than the primary size. This allows more than enough variables on 'standard' size to cover virtually any project requirements.
The profiles have a peel away strip which expose an extremely strong adhesive which bond to there form .
A QR code provides the simple instructions for form size and profile spacing's. A form worker with mid range capability is all that is needed.
Process
Practically no size restrictions & no additional costs relating to 'non-standard' culverts.

Simply could not be easier to construct!

The integrated Pod. Kitchen, Bathroom & switch room edition!
The next generation pod has arrived! Bathroom, switch room and Kitchen pods. Utilising our patented 'Flow Deck' pod base these 'back end' critical path elements can be dropped seamlessly into the 'front end' critical path, slab pour, without adding time to the slab cycle.
Full project times reduced by 15-20%
